The Yorkshire (formerly Larkspeed) League is a competition between most Yorkshire based motor clubs. The league comprises 10 events, in which competitors can score points for their club, based upon their result in class. ALL CASH PRIZES AWARDED TO BEVERLEY & DMC ARE SHARED OUT AMONGST THE COMPETITORS.

Each competitor receives a share of the prize money which the club wins, in proportion to the number of points they have scored. If we end the year in the top 10 clubs, the Armstrong Massey Rally will add an equal amount to the sum won from the League as a thank you to all competitors. In 1998, we won £96 from the Larkspeed League, which was doubled up to £192 by the Armstrong Massey Rally, and this all went back to the competitors who won it. One competitor won £90!

At the end of each year, the top ten clubs are invited to organise an event each the next year, and so these events are always very well supported, as each club is trying to get into the top ten, and win the large prizes. We usually promote the Armstrong Massey Rally as our Yorkshire League event, and so the RALLY DOUBLES THE PRIZE FUND won as a thank you to all the competitors.

If you fancy entering events, with a guaranteed cash reward for doing so, even if you come last, then enter these events as a member of Beverley & District Motor Club.
